Genesis 1:27 Psalm 139:14

So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1:27

The God of the entire awe-inspiring, breathtaking universe deliberately chose to make you. It wasn’t by some magical snap of His fingers. No, quite the opposite is true. God is purposeful. The Bible says He carefully knit you together in your mother’s womb!

As God calls you to step out with Him on a life-changing journey, He wants you to follow Him through His Word and experience a real love, a real hope, and real mercy that only your Heavenly Father can give.

Life has a way of sneaking in and whispering in your ear that you don’t matter, or handing you a tiny thought that says you're too old or too young to make a difference. It was no different with Adam and Eve when the devil came slithering in to the beautiful garden and tried so hard to make the first couple believe a lie.

God is intentional and He pursues you. Just like he didn’t leave Adam and Eve alone after they messed up, God will never leave you alone either! You are His special creation. There are billions of people in the world, but God made only one you. He gave you a unique heart to love like no one else can love. He gave you one-of-a-kind eyes to see others with compassion like He sees them. You are a wonderful work of the Lord (Psalm 139:14) because that's who He made you to be!

Lord, thank you for thinking about me. Thank you for deciding to give me life. It’s hard to believe I am formed in Your image, but that’s who I am. Please help me today by reminding me that I’m not an accident. You don’t make mistakes!
