Basic Formatting

You can add any plain text to a note, but HTML formatting tags, clickable hyperlinks, photos, media, and JavaScript are not allowed.

Time spent in conversation with God leads to a closer relationship.

Not Allowed

Time spent in <i>conversation</i> with God leads to a closer relationship.

Scripture References

You can add references to biblical scripture in your notes and they will become clickable references. To add a reference following the American System of Biblical References using either the book's full title or an abbreviation.

Use colons between chapter and verse numbers (most Europeans use a different format, putting commas here).
Use commas between verse numbers of the same chapter (and between chapter numbers, but only if no verses are given).
Use semicolons between references that give chapter and verse numbers from different chapters.
Use a single dash between verses to indicate "from-to" within one chapter (or between chapter numbers without verses).
Do not use periods after abbreviated book names, but do put spaces between the abbreviations and chapter numbers.

In Philippians 4:6 we are called not to be anxious.

In Phil 4:6 we are called not to be anxious.

In Phil 4:6-8 we are called not to be anxious and if anything is excellent or praiseworthy to think about such things.

Invalid References

The reference Gen. 1:1 accidentally included a period after the abbreviation.
