It was only a few short decades since the start of the early church and, already, the Apostle Paul could sense opposition to the Gospel message and some new Christians who had already quit the race. In a letter to his young protégé, the Apostle urges Timothy to stand guard, stay strong and persevere in the Gospel message and ministry. With so many distractions around the Christian today, this message remains relevant in its charge to finish strong.

This message from the "Finish Strong" series focuses on 2 Timothy 3:1-9 and the Core Comptency of Self-Control.
