This book is a beautiful combination of deep theology as well as practical insight on what it means to give our all to Jesus. As we engage with the book of 1 Peter, we can’t help but acknowledge how powerful the truth in the text is. While it was certainly written within a specific context, it’s just as applicable today. My hope and prayer is that we genuinely engage with 1 Peter and read it with fresh eyes. We should finish this book with a fuller understanding of Peter as well as the person of Jesus Christ.
